FINNISH BARNS

This series represents my return to the land of my birth, Finland, and my attempts to understand a place that is both familiar and unfamiliar to me.

The barns, structures most associated with my childhood, are the focus of these meditations. Recognition and alienation, comfort and lonliness, struggle with each other in these photographs - my documents of reconciliation.
